GSAS Writing Studio AUGUST Dissertation-Writers' Retreat

For these four-day retreats, in addition to dedicated, quiet writing space, the GSAS Writing Studio offers breakfast, lunch, coffee, and help managing tech distractions. While the main goal is to provide dissertation writers ample time to write, brief goal-setting meetings at the start and close of day will help frame the day’s work. Writing Studio consultants will be on hand to provide further support to interested writers.

Please bring a laptop and your materials.  While we do our best to maintain a quiet work environment, you may also find it useful to bring headphones or earplugs.

Retreats are interdisciplinary and open to all Arts & Sciences dissertation writers. Priority will be given to those who are nearing the end of their years in program and to those waitlisted for the July retreat.
